LiveJournal is being shitty at the moment, so I thought I would take the opportunity to update this thing. (Which I know I have been really bad about doing.)
Some good news to report! I am going to Stanford this summer as a visiting student. I am really, really excited about it and looking forward to it. It's going to be expensive as hell, but it'll totally be worth it. Who says no to Stanford?
I've been doing well in school. The winter intersession sucked and I ended up dropping the math class I was taking. I really didn't need my GPA to go any further down the toilet. That was not one of my bright ideas, let me tell you. Six weeks of time where they try to cram in 16 weeks of information and then taking an English class and a math class? BAD IDEA. So yeah, I dropped it. Which meant I had to drop the math class I had registered for for the spring semester. I was able to get into another class at the last minute though, thankfully. I got an A in my English 1A class, so that's good. It brought my GPA up (which wasn't bad, but gave me a frown), too, of course.
This semester I am taking English 1B and Introduction to Shakespeare (the class that replaced the math class). The Intro to Shakespeare class is eh. It could be worse, but I wish I could have gotten into a history class instead.
